Elopements are the spontaneous alternative to your typical wedding ceremony. They can take place anywhere your free spirit desires and pretty much anything goes. There is something so romantic about running away with your S.O. and tying the knot… or maybe I watch too many Rom-Coms.

That day, Heather of TaylorMade Photography captured my vision perfectly and chased the hazy light as the sun started to set. Our models, Brie and Alex were an amazing couple. They gave us real unmatched chemistry which not only showed during but after the shoot. At the end they were laying on the vintage rug ever so glamorously sipping on champagne and feeding each other strawberries. #GOALS

Are you digging the boho desert vibes? The neutral color palette embodied the essence of Fall and using dried flowers in the arrangements tied in the end of a harvest. Fall is my favorite season and I am happy to have had the chance to incorporate the theme into my work. Hope this shoot inspires you to change up your wedding colors and go for something out of the ordinary!

On Sunday I was a vendor at Vanderveen Farm’s Open House in Mount Vernon, WA. It’s been a month since my Wedding season ended in late September and it was great opportunity to flex my creative skills. In collaboration with Whitley of Eastwood Events, I designed arrangements for a mock Ceremony & Reception space as well as my own booth.

I had absolutely no idea how I wanted to design my booth. This was a AJF’s first open house and knew a visit to my wholesaler would provide some inspo. These unique tan Sahara Spray Roses totally captured my eye and I paired them with Mini White Carns, fuzzy Nigella and greens. The candlesticks, acrylic frame, glass + wicker vessel and vintage tin were all thrift finds that I collected over the years.

A curio in place of a regular cocktail table added to the rustic country vibe. Found out it was a decor piece a Bride gave to the venue after her wedding (score!). Ribbons were gifted from Hey! It’s Oh So Pretty and luckily enough everything came together perfectly.

Don’t worry, pictures of the Ceremony and Reception space are coming soon! Be sure to follow AJF on Instagram for more frequent posts and a live video I recorded the day of the event!
